Real Time Clocks

A highly accurate RTC module with I²C bus interface providing timing accuracy of ±3ppm (or ±1.81 seconds per day), the RV8803C7 is also the world's smallest RTC module, with a package footprint of only 3.5 x 1.5mm. In addition to providing excellent frequency stability this real time clock module is also one of the lowest power temperature compensated RTC modules in the world with back up power requirement of only 240nA with automotive grade options available. This product was previously named RV8803C7.

With ultra-low current consumption of only 17nA the RV1805C3 boasts the lowest power consumption of our entire range of real time clock modules. This RTC with miniature 3.7 x 2.5mm package and I²C bus interface offers excellent stability for an uncompensated part and incorporates many additional functions including alarm, timer, interupt, power management and trickle charge.

Within a miniature 3.7 x 2.5mm footprint the RV3029C3 offers excellent time accuracy of ±3ppm (0.26s/day drift) and is temperature compensated, allowing for outstanding ±8ppm stability over extended operating temperature range of -40 to +125ºC. The RV3029C3 with I²C bus interface also features great shock and vibration resistance and is available with AEC-Q200 qualification (and full PPAP documentation) on request.

The RV3049C3 packs superb timing stability, temperature compensation and SPI bus interface into a miniature 3.7 x 2.5mm surface mount package. Wide operating temperature ranges of -40 to +125ºC are available as is AEC-Q200 qualification and full PPAP documentation on request.

The RV4162C7 ultra-miniature RTC module is perfect for cost-sensitive high volume applications where you need an all-in-one solution to help with space saving and procurement costs. The tiny 3.5 x 1.5mm footprint enables additional design space and, along with wide operating voltage range and good stability at room temperature, the RV4162C7 also features I²C bus interface, standard clock and calendar functionality, alarm setting and a watchdog function.

Ideal for engineers who require low power at supply voltages down to 1.2V, the RV8532C3 with I²C bus interface consumes current of only 130nA in time-keeping mode. Encased within a miniature 3.7 x 2.5mm footprint package, the RV8523C3 also features good shock and vibration performance and is available with AEC-Q200 qualification and full PPAP documentation on request.

Due to technlogy improvements the RV8564C3 with I²C bus interface is no longer recommended for new designs but is fully available for existing design-ins. For new designs that require low power consumption please consider the smaller and more competitive RV1805C3 or RV4162C7 for designs where highly competitive pricing is paramount.
